Chibishous are a project I’ve been working on for a while now. These particular sprites do not appear in any game– they were custom-designed by Geek Mythology Crafts and are only available from us at conventions, at our website, www.geekmythologycrafts.com and at our Etsy Store. Aside from that, we will be debuting these bead sprites [...]

Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles: the Triple Threat
Remember back when Sonic, Tails, and Knux were affectionately referred to as “the Triple Threat”? No? Ah, well. I’m old and crotchety. In any case, I took great care in preserving this legendary team in beads. My biggest sprite to date that didn’t fall apart at any point during its creation. Huzzah!

Amy Rose Mini Munny WIP: Day One

Well this is interesting… recall how I mentioned that, after Tinkerbell, Aero the Acrobat would be my next Munny? Well apparently I fibbed hardcore.
Amy Rose is not by far my favorite Sonic character, or even one I find easy to tolerate in the least bit. But, being infected with an infatuation for Sonic the Hedgehog in general, I found myself in the possession of certain Amy Rose merchandise. I had two dolls, until I couldn’t stand how oppressively butt-ugly one of them was– you know, one of those boardwalk/midway prizes that glares at you with its misshapen cock-eyes. Hideous. So I ripped her dress off and threw her into a garbage bag. Good gravy, that sounds serial killer worthy. In any event, I have the doll’s dress, just saving it for a cloudy day. Then I realized it would fit pretty nicely on a mini Munny. (I happen to keep a fair amount in reserve.) And this was the result, so far.
I’m pretty happy with the shape so far- it was a difficult design since I had to pad her head up with tin foil for those quills. And I was a little apprehensive about shaving off the Munny’s ears, so instead I covered them with her quills. Unfortunately her back quill looks a little wonky, but a good sanding should help that out a bit.
Once I finish her up I swear I’ll finish Aero!!
