Chibishous are a project I’ve been working on for a while now. These particular sprites do not appear in any game– they were custom-designed by Geek Mythology Crafts and are only available from us at conventions, at our website, www.geekmythologycrafts.com and at our Etsy Store. Etsy Store Highlight: Sprite Necklaces

I’ve decided to try something new on the blog- advertisement! We’ve got several items for sale on Etsy, but people might not know about them! So I’ll showcase them here and alert everyone to new items as they become available!
Check out our new bead sprite necklaces! We have several different kinds of smaller sprites laced up with ball-chain necklaces so you can wear them with pride! In stock at Etsy, we have Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros. Mushrooms, and The Triforce from Legend of Zelda.

When the doctor’s away, the viruses will play!
I always loved the game Dr. Mario. One of my favorite puzzle games for sure! The viruses were really cute considering they are… ya know… viruses. The blue one always looked like a bunny to me.
Anyway, I made them from the SNES version sprites. The little bit of extra colors really makes the shading look nifty. They are up for sale as a set on my Etsy Store.

Take a stand, Ness!
Simple but effective- I have made a little stand for my bead sprites. I’ve made quite a few now and they’re all laying flat on their faces… I thought it would be cool to have them stand upright. I puzzled over it briefly and came up with a very rudimentary device, but hey, it works great! I was originally going to put it on a large, circular base but it stands up perfectly on just the small rectangular one, and does not visually take away from the sprite on display. I may adjust the dimensions of the stand slightly in the future, but I’m pretty happy with the result for a first shot.
