Geek Mythology Crafts consists of two artists, one significantly more geeky than the other, and both are geeky significant others! We focus on creating geeky crafts inspired by video games, Anime and cartoons. Our main focus is a craft called “bead sprites”, a fusion of plastic beads in the form of video game sprites, and custom character designs!

One day, Vilsy began expressing her inner geek and love for old-skool video games by making bead sprites. The process was so fun and full of good ol’ nostalgia that she decided to make a crafting hobby and business out of it. As a huge fan of Greek mythology, she then ruthlessly forced the collective title of “Geek Mythology” onto her significant other and herself, and thus Geek Mythology Crafts was born. Vilsy enjoys mint chocolate chip ice cream above all things. Well that’s not true, but it ranks up there. Soon she will be dabbling in the art of making cutesy animal hats and custom “Mini Munnys”.

The geeky fiance, known for his uncanny abilities to make a bead sprite at nigh-light speed and to NOT spill the beads all over the floor. JJ was impressed into sprite-making service by his crazy fiancee and has since become god-like in their creation. He can also make custom sprites like nobody’s business. So if you would like to have some custom sprite work done, definitely drop him a line. He is also a level 99 D&D DM, in case you were worried about his Geek Credentials.
